In today’s fast-paced and demanding world it can be easy to lose sense of ourselves or feel disconnected from others. If you are feeling overwhelmed by your present circumstances or anxious about the future, you are not alone (rather, you are in remarkably good company– welcome!). Therapy can be an accepting, nonjudgmental space to set down and unpack all that you are carrying; an hour solely dedicated to connecting with yourself and your needs.

Navigating Grief and Loss
Grief is a deeply personal journey; I am here to listen, support, and accompany you as you move through its different seasons. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, navigating the end of a significant relationship, or facing big life transitions, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental environment to help you find ways to cope, adapt, and honor what has been lost, live through the seemingly unendurable, and gently embrace what comes next.

Supporting Individuals with Chronic Illness
Living with a chronic illness can present profound physical, emotional, and mental challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. As someone living with a chronic illness myself (fellow Spoonies unite!) I am deeply committed to helping individuals navigate the demands of chronic conditions. I will work alongside you to help you develop strategies to manage stress, build resilience, and discover (or rediscover) a strong sense of identity and purpose. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been managing your condition for years, I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to partner with you to help you find a greater sense of balance and a renewed sense of well-being.

Building Self-Esteem and Confidence
Oftentimes, it is easier to recognize and appreciate other people’s good qualities. If you are experiencing self-doubt, shame, pressures to be perfect, or negative self-talk, I am here to help you form a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Together, we will work towards helping you cultivate a stronger sense of self-worth, self-trust, and confidence. Through exploration of internalized narratives that may no longer be serving you, to identifying and leaning towards your values, we will work to help you step into your life with a deeper sense of authenticity and assurance.

Supporting Adolescents and Young Adults
Adolescence and the transition to college are exciting yet sometimes overwhelming times, filled with big questions about who you are and where you’re headed. I’m here to help you figure it out in a way that feels real and relatable. Whether you’re feeling the weight of academic pressure, navigating tricky friendships or relationships, or just trying to understand yourself better, I’ll be by your side to help you make sense of it all. Together, we can build tools to handle stress, express yourself confidently, and create stronger, healthier connections. My approach aims to empower you to embrace who you are and step into your future with greater clarity and purpose.

My therapeutic style is grounded in empathy, respect, humor, and a steadfast commitment to your feeling seen, heard, and empowered to live authentically and courageously.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with the State of Washington (#MC61594152). I regularly seek consultation from colleagues as well as my licensed supervisor, Katherine Walter, MSW, LICSW, CSW-G (LICSW #LW 60136151).
