Our Specialties
Neurodiversity
Being a neurodiversity-affirming therapist means we start with you. We honor how your mind works, without trying to fit you into someone else’s “normal.” We know the neurotypical world can be challenging, and we want to hear what matters most to you—your hopes, your needs, and where you want support—so we can help in ways that feel authentic and empowering.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy
LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy means attuning to you. Maybe when you come to therapy, it is absolutely the most important part of your identity and it’s front and center in our discussions. Or maybe it’s just a part of you that you don’t want minimized or forgotten, but it doesn’t need to be the focus of conversations. You lead the way.
Parenting
Parenting is rewarding and challenging, and you deserve support along the way. Our therapists offer warm, culturally humble guidance to help you understand your patterns, strengthen connection, manage stress, and support your child’s needs. We partner with you to create a family dynamic rooted in compassion, clarity, and attuned care.
Trauma
Trauma can affect your body, emotions, and relationships long after the experience has ended. Our therapists provide culturally humble, trauma-informed care to help you build safety, process painful memories, and reconnect with yourself. We honor your pace and support you in creating a life with more clarity, stability, and hope.
Anxiety
Anxiety can feel like living in a constant state of vigilance—mind racing, body tense, emotions heightened. Together, we’ll explore patterns of worry, perfectionism, difficulty resting, fears of disappointing others, or struggles with transitions. We’ll help you build skills to regulate your nervous system, challenge unhelpful narratives, and cultivate a relationship with anxiety that is compassionate rather than punitive.
Grief and Loss
Grief can feel overwhelming, isolating, or confusing. Our therapists offer warm, culturally humble support to help you honor your loss, process complex emotions, and find your way forward at your own pace. You deserve a space where your grief is seen, understood, and treated with compassion.
Workplace Stress
Workplace stress can lead to overwhelm, burnout, and emotional exhaustion. Our therapists offer culturally humble support to help you understand the pressures you’re facing, strengthen boundaries, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with meaning in your work. You deserve a healthier, more sustainable relationship with your career.
Immigration
Immigration can bring hope, stress, cultural conflict, identity shifts, and deep emotional complexity. Our therapists offer culturally humble support to help you navigate transitions, family expectations, acculturation stress, grief, and the challenges of living between cultures. You deserve a space where your story and identity are fully understood and honored.
Depression
Depression can feel heavy, isolating, and overwhelming. Our therapists provide warm, culturally humble support to help you understand your emotions, reconnect with meaning, and develop compassionate tools for daily life. We honor your story, your pace, and the unique context that shapes your experience. You don’t have to face this alone.
Chronic Illness
Chronic illness affects every part of life—your identity, emotions, relationships, and daily routines. Our therapists offer warm, culturally humble support to help you manage stress, process grief, navigate medical trauma, and build sustainable ways of living that honor your body and your needs.
Our Languages
English
There are many situations in life that can stretch our ability to manage in the world -- transitions such as coping with a sudden or chronic illness, exploring sexual orientation and gender identity, coping with trauma, finding new ways to communicate with loved ones, assisting aging parents as they need more care, and many others. With these changes we can feel stress and sorrow, but we can also find the opportunity to grow and find a new path. Our role is to work with you to help you draw on your strengths and help you clarify your goals.

Featured Services

Individual Therapy
We are a safe place to process and find your center in this ever-changing world. We empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles to improve their lives and relationships. Using clinically tested and evidence-based interventions, we strive to help individuals achieve their goals. Our work is grounded in the principles of liberation and cultural humility.
Living Our Values:
Being Curious
Having ongoing conversations that are hard, vulnerable, and brave. This includes regular training, mentorship, consultation, and engagement with our community.
Being Accountable
Catalyst staff will acknowledge and address the intersectional parts of our identity that contain privilege, especially the parts that benefit from an oppressive system. We will accept responsibility for harm that we do, whether intentional or not, and take concrete steps toward repairing harm.
Being Intentional
We strive to offer services that reflect and honor the community we work in, in part by hiring clinicians who have humility, awareness, and willingness to engage in anti-oppressive work.
Creating Safety
All clients will be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect as an individual. Gender identity will be respected, and you will be referred to by your name and pronouns. We will welcome discussions of intersections of identity both in and out of the therapy room.
